Hello today i am going to talk about my favorite subject in science.
My favorite subject was astronomy because it really was interesting to me to learn new things about it. The first few months were pretty boring but after i got with the program i found it to be interesting to me. The reason why i picked astronomy is because it tells us about our solar system. Did you know the moon is larger than the sun by a couple of kilometers. on the moon there could be small tides for example the beach how the water goes up a little than it goes back to normal.
Weather and climate is about rain, snow, sleet, and other types of liquid that comes from the sky are all small things the huge things in our world are tornadoes and hurricanes. we learned how they form and how fast or slow they arrive.
Geology was my least favorit because i learned about them and how they form. i learned about the minnerals and how they form. thats why it my least favorit.
weathering and erosion was my second favorite because we did many fun activities and learned alot of stuff i found any things that caused erosion and stuff that caused weathering in my back yard and also down the street from me.
earths water i learned alot about it to like where our water comes from to if its dirty or clean. did u know that our water is actually sewer water4 buts its been purified.
that is what i learned in science and it was pretty cool.
thx Mrs. Casey for every thing and i will miss you

earthquake
(1) Earth quakes tend to happen where the plates meet
(B) North,south, west, east America
(2)I think they meet where the plates are because their is more pressure building up.
(3)In the northern area
(4)New Mexico is the closest Earthquake from Manitou springs,it happened around Saturday Jan.17 2009 @ 8:02pm. Nope not everyone would be able to feel the Earthquake.
(5)Arkansas

weather front
Cold front
The cold front is when the hotter air is pushed upward so the colder air can come through than it starts to rain.
warm front
The warm air pushes the cold air down making scattered rain
stationary front
It is where hot air and warm air don't compete against each other but meet in the middle
occluded front
It is where the warm air connects with co0l air sometimes the hot air will overlap each other making it become warm with rain stopping and going.
